PRESCHOOL 3- and 4-YEAR OLD PROGRAMS

Calendar
The Preschool program follows the same school schedule as the K-8 program.

Admission
Children must be 3 years of age or 4 years of age by September 1, and they must be potty-trained. Consideration for acceptance will be given to students who do not qualify for the New Athens At-Risk program. Space is limited, and priority is given to families who seek the Catholic school experience. Upon admission, application forms and a medical form must be completed. The medical form (signed by a physician) includes updated immunizations, completed physical exam, and a current TB skin test. The state of Illinois also requires a lead-screening test and the chicken pox vaccine.

Dress Code
Pre-K students are not required to follow the school dress code, but information is available in the school’s Parent-Student Handbook. A copy of the dress code information is available upon request.
