Hello, my name is Sheri Wombacher. I am the 5th and 6th grade teacher at St. Agatha School. I have lived in New Athens for the last 10 years with my two children – Zachary, who is 17 years old and a junior at Gibault Catholic High School, and Abigail, who is 12 years old and in the 7th grade here at St. Agatha’s.
I enjoy reading, biking, walking, swimming, watching movies, hanging out with my children, and spending time with special friends. I am a member of St. Agatha parish, where I am an active member of the Adult Choir and the Women’s Club.
I have an Associate of Arts degree from SWIC with emphasis in Business and my Bachelor degree in Education from SIUE. After graduating from college, I was a substitute teacher and a Special Education Teacher’s Aid. I am now in my fourth year at St. Agatha School.
